Mercedes-Benz: The AMG GT 63 S E Performance four-door coupe has been introduced by Mercedes-Benz India with a starting price of 3.3 crore. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the most powerful production automobile ever developed by the Affalterbach team, and it comes with subtle design changes such as new bumpers, alloy wheels, a new exhaust system, and a charging outlet on the right side of the rear bumper.
It only takes 2.9 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h
The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine gives the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance its strength. The electric motor sends an extra 150 kW (201 bhp) to the back wheel. When the V8 and the electric motor work together, they make 831 bhp and 1,470 Nm of peak power. The top speed is automatically controlled at 316 km/h, and it only takes 2.9 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h. All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard, and the 9G AMG-Speedshift automatic gear sends power to all four wheels.
The speed coupe with four doors has an AMG interior with sports seats, carbon fibre and Alcantara inserts, and AMG logos everywhere. You also get an AMG driving wheel with short-cut buttons. The AMG GT S E Performance has two 12.4-inch screens, one for the digital instrument panel and the other for the entertainment system. The most recent MBUX interface is used by the unit.
The car also has AMG Dynamic Select driving modes
A lot of the technology in the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance comes from what the company learned in F1. It has a 6 kWh lithium-ion battery that is very light and was made with ideas from the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team. The car also has AMG Dynamic Select driving modes, and the right stick of the steering wheel lets you choose from four different recovery modes. The four-door coupe also has a switch on the centre panel or the steering wheel that turns the sound up or down. For the first time, the AMG GT 63 SE Performance also has a full EV mode that lets you drive for 13 km on electric power alone.
Mercedes-Benz India also said that seven-time Formula One world winner Lewis Hamilton would give the keys of the new AMG GT 63 S E Performance cars to their owners on behalf of Mercedes.
