MG Comet: The next little electric vehicle from MG Motor India, the Comet, will go on sale on April 26. The Comet, which is based on the Wuling Air that is offered in Chinese markets, was recently displayed in India by the maker. MG will cater to customers searching for a compact, urban runabout with its smallest electric vehicle.

A 17.3kWh battery pack powers an electric motor located at the back of the Comet EV. 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque are produced by the electric motor. A single charge can take the Comet 230kms as per the claim. A 3.3kW AC charger can charge the Comet EV’s batteries from 0 to 100% in 7 hours.
Features
The Comet EV’s interior features a connected screen layout with separate 10.25-inch screens on either side. The Comet EV has wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on its 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system. Additionally, it has amenities like drive modes, multi-level regenerative braking, power-adjustable side mirrors, a 2-spoke steering wheel with controls, dual front airbags, a reverse parking camera with sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The Comet EV has just two doors, but it has some clever storage compartments inside even though it is a small car.
Expected price in India
Pricing (ex-showroom) is anticipated to start at Rs. 10 lakh.
