MG Motors: The Indian automobile market is emerging as one of the fastest-growing automotive markets in India. Taking note of the growth possibilities, several automakers are foraying or expanding their portfolio in India. One of the major players among those who have already established a decent customer base in India is MG Motor India. The foreign automaker has ambitious plans to launch 7 new vehicles in India by 2025.
MG Motors Plans to Launch 7 Vehicles in India
MG Motors is expected to introduce upgrades to some of its popular offerings in India. The brand will reportedly also launch some brand-new vehicles in the subcontinent. According to a report, MG Motors and JSW will launch around 7 new vehicles by 2025 as a part of a collaboration. Both companies have shown a strong commitment to the Indian automotive market.
MG Motors has plans to expand its dealership network in India with around 400 touchpoints across 270 cities. The company is expected to launch electric variants of its existing offerings while adding some ICE vehicles to its Indian portfolio.
Cars Expected to Be Introduced in India
Taking clues from the Auto Expo 2023, MG is expected to introduce the MG4 electric hatchback, Mifa 9 electric MPV and MG5 electric estate. Along with these, MG Motors is also expected to launch a Yep electric SUV under its name tag.
