MG: The brand-new electric SUV, called Baojun Yep, has recently begun driving in China and is generating a lot of attention. With its breathtaking design, remarkable features, and small size, this eco-friendly and stylish SUV is creating a stir. There have been rumours that the Yep EV, sporting an MG Motors badge, would arrive in India. A design patent application for the Yep EV has now been made in India by MG’s parent company, SAIC, confirming earlier rumours.

One electric motor, placed on the back axle, is part of the Yep concept. With a range of up to 303 km, the device produces about 67 horsepower and 140 Nm.
Features inside and design details
The China-spec Yep‘s exterior is characterised by straightforward square LED headlamps, a tough bumper design, quad-LED daytime running lights, robust wheel arches with 15-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, plastic cladding on its bottom half, an optional LED display at the tailboard, etc.
The Yep is a four-person, electric vehicle with a classic design that we can see inside. It is equipped with a rear-view camera, ADAS capabilities, a rear-view steering wheel, a few buttons for AC controls, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, heated front seats, and more.
