Mini Cooper EV: MINI is preparing to launch its latest generation Cooper SE EV and Countryman EV in global markets on September 1st. During testing, these cars were spotted numerous times. In this article, we will share all you must know about these amazing EVs.
Mini Cooper SE EV
The Cooper SE EV will use a new electric platform, according to the information that is currently available. It will be larger, having a longer wheelbase and a broader track than the forthcoming SE.
As for the powertrain details, The battery pack would feature a 40 kWh pack for the less expensive models with 350km of range and a 54 kWh pack for the more powerful and expensive versions. It will have a power output of 215 bhp and a claimed range of 400–450 km.
Countryman EV
The new BMW iX1 shares the platform with the Countryman EV. Its base E trim will be powered by a 54-kWh battery and a single 188-hp electric motor. The top-of-the-line SE ALL4 grade will be equipped with a 308-hp dual electric motor configuration and a 64-kWh battery pack.
On full charge, it has a range of 450 kilometres. Both electric Minis will be on display at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich, Germany, beginning in September. The brand will also present the iVision Circular and the iVision D Concept. The i7 will be in the D concept, while the iX5 will highlight the hydrogen automaker’s fuel cell technology.
