Navjot Singh Sidhu Met Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday. Both the leaders already know each other very well. For many days, the political discussions regarding the meeting of Sidhu and Mann had gained momentum. Sidhu had put an end to these discussions by tweeting on Sunday that he would meet CM Bhagwant Mann on Monday.
Meanwhile, before Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s meeting with Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, state minister Laljit Bhullar had targeted Sidhu and the Congress. He had said that there is no single stand of Sidhu and his party.
Congress leaders were making various claims
Bhullar was reacting to the claims of Congress leaders. He said that some Congress leaders were claiming that CM Mann had invited Sidhu to meet him. While some others were saying that the former PPCC chief was seeking time to meet the CM for the past one month. Bhullar said, ‘Some others are claiming that the Governor had written a letter after which Sidhu’s meeting with the CM was fixed.’
