New Gen Hyundai Verna: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) plans to introduce the Ioniq 5 flagship electric vehicle at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida later this month. Additionally, it is highly likely that the new generation of the Verna will make its debut at the motoring show. Test mules for the midsize sedan have been seen more than once in recent months, which suggests that it might be coming out soon. Even though buyers aren’t as interested in midsize five-seater sedans as they once were, Honda released the fifth generation City in 2020, and the hybrid version of the City came out earlier this year. The Verna is currently the second best-selling model in its category.
Expected to go on sale at the end of March or in April 2023
The 2023 Hyundai Verna is expected to go on sale at the end of March or in April 2023. It will be very different from the model that came before it. The outside looks a lot like the newest Sonata and Elantra that is sold in international markets. So, it will look a lot like the cars that are a big part of the Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy.
It will be more sporty than the model it replaces, and you can also expect it to be bigger. The front fascia will have a new, bigger grille, headlights that are sleeker, a new bumper, fog lamp housings and grille inserts, a wider air intake, and other changes. It will have a roofline like a notchback, and the space in the trunk should have grown.
A floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay
The test prototypes show that the back will have full-width LED tail lights and a sculpted trunk lid. The interior will feature a layered dashboard, a floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity, an all-digital instrument cluster, powered seats, a wireless charger, and much more.

It will be interesting to see whether or not ADAS will be available. As for performance, the 1.5-liter NA gasoline engine with 115 PS and the new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 160 PS will likely be used instead of the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
