Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar made a big statement about the Covid-19 vaccine before the vaccination campaign against Coronavirus pandemic starting on January 16, 2021.
Sharad Pawar termed the questions on vaccine safety as baseless and said that there is no need to doubt the vaccine passed by the Drugs Controller General of India.
The Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech are both world class institutions and will take the vaccine dose immediately if they get the chance.
Sharad Pawar said, “Serum Institute of India in Pune and India-based biotech Hyderabad are world class organizations, so there is no need to doubt the vaccine.” Pawar further said, in a way, these institutions of India have shown a way to the world, so I will not doubt them. If I had a chance to get a shot of the Kovid vaccine, I would immediately. Let us know that the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign is starting from January 16.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch India’s massive Covid vaccination drive on January 16, the Union Health Ministry confirmed on Thursday.
The health ministry said, “The massive countrywide Covid-19 vaccination drive will be rolled out by Prime Minister from January 16. This would be the world’s largest immunisation exercise.”
