Norton V4CR: The earliest and most potent naked sportbike ever produced by British motorcycle company Norton is the Norton V4CR. The V4CR, a bike based on the V4SV, will only be produced in 200 units, according to the firm. Norton V4CR motorcycles are priced at GBP 41,999 (about Rs. 42.81 lakh). In the year 2020, Norton was purchased by the Indian business TVS Motor. This is the first motorbike to be released under the Norton name since TVS Motor acquired the company.
Norton V4CR powertrain details
The motorbike is powered by a 1200cc, 72-degree V4 engine designed by Norton. It has a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter to produce 185 horsepower of power and 125 Nm of torque.
The bike has front and rear Ohlins suspension that are both completely adjustable. While braking can be accomplished with Brembo callipers. A full suite of electronic systems, including three engine modes and lean-angle-sensitive traction control, are included with the Norton V4CR. The motorcycle has a 6-inch full-colour TFT display and keyless start.
Design details
The aggressive design of the Norton V4CR is further enhanced by its hand-crafted aluminium frame, titanium exhaust system, short body, and exposed air intakes. The 15-litre Kevlar reinforced fuel tank under the seat and LED lighting both enhance the cafe racing bike’s overall aesthetic.
