The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the December 2021 and June 2022 cycles of the National Eligibility Test (NET). Candidates can make changes in their application form by visiting the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can make any changes in the application form of UGC NET till 9 pm on 23rd May. The last date to apply for the University Grants Commission’s NET exam was 20 May 2022.
Candidates are requested to make changes in their application form well in time, as NTA will not give any chance to make changes in the form after the stipulated time. The UGC NET December 2021 and NET June 2022 examination is being jointly organized by NTA. However, the information about the examination centers will be released by the NTA later.
NET exam is conducted twice a year by UGC, but due to Corona epidemic, UGC NET exam was postponed in December 2021 last year. Due to the postponement of the December 2021 examination, the UGC NET June 2022 session examination was also getting delayed significantly. In view of this, the National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the December 2021 and June 2022 session exams simultaneously in the first or second week of June.
This has been done so that the cycle of UGC NET exam can be continued regularly. However, the dates of Paribha have not been announced yet. The examinations of both the sessions will be conducted in CBT mode.
The National Eligibility Test of the University Grants Commission determines the eligibility of Indian citizens for the eligibility of Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship or both for Indian universities and colleges.
