Ola Electric has announced that it will start the test rides for its electric scooters — S1 and S1 Pro — from this week, while their deliveries will commence “soon after”.
“Having some fun with the scooter!,” Ola Chairman and Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said in a tweet dated November 7. “Test rides begin in the coming week and first deliveries begin soon after,” he added.
As a brand with no dealership network, Ola Electric will home deliver, to any location in the country, a brand new scooter, registered to the owner’s address directly from the Ola FutureFactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
Ola electric has issued a statement saying, “Test rides starting in select cities from November 10, 2021 and will be rolled out across India in the next few weeks. Find nearest Ola Test ride Camp and book your slots now.” Ola Electric also said that the final payment window to buy S1 or S1 Pro electric scooters opens today and will be notified to those who have made their bookings earlier.

Ola Electric will offer test rides of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in only four cities as of now. These cities are Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. Ola Electric is offering the test rides only to those ‘who have paid an advance for S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters’.
Although it was previously scheduled to open on November 1, the second purchase window for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro, now opens on December 16.
