As per the reports 18.6 million of clothing will end up in the landfill and also that 150 million of the landfill will fill up on the earth till 2050.It’s horrible to imagine our earth filled with endless things.There are many parents those who are only filling their cupboards and sometimes clothes are dumped without the single use.Tinythings is a company that came as a changemaker and decided to sell and buy used/unused clothes,toys everything that belongs to kids.The company helps parents to sell and buy pre-loved baby stuffs.
The people behind this venture are Bhavna Dayal and Nandita Kodesia,who are mothers and live in Noida.Tinythings has a huge network of 50k mothers across india and they all work with a motto-”Love.Transfer.Repeat”.Bhavna says that “one thing we take care of is hygiene and sanitisation as it was vital for all during pandemic time.We are aiming to bring substantial change to the environment.Tinythings is recycling baby products in result it is not only reducing the landfill but also is a green wave for our planet.
According to Nandita Kodesia “Another important part is to provide branded baby stuff to people at cheaper price.We want to reduce the gap between people’s willingness and their ability to buy”.
The company has raised its first round of seed funding.And also they are trying to bring the opportunity for women to work from home.The company has products of brands like Tommy Hilfiger,Chicco,Graco and everything from nappies,toys,footwear etc.
