Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address to Parliament on Wednesday. The Budget session commenced with President Droupadi Murmu’s address to the joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on January 31. “The result is 24 per cent of India’s air traffic and 31 per cent of air freight passes through Adani’s airports,” Gandhi said.

PM Modi’s address comes a day after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi attacked the Centre and the Prime Minister over the surge in Adani’s income since 2014. In his first speech post culminating Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi, Tuesday, alleged that the Central government was favouring only one corporate, Adani Group. The Budget Session will be completed in two parts- the first part of the session is being held from January 31 to February 11 and the second part will take place from March 14 to April 8.
Rahul Gandhi attacks Centre amid Adani-Hindenburg tussle
Rahul Gandhi Tuesday led the opposition attack in Lok Sabha amid Hindenburg report, as he claimed that Adani rose in the global rich list from the 609th to the second spot post the Modi government came in power in 2014. Levelling a barrage of allegations agains the Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi asked how much money Adani has paid BJP in last 20 years.
“There should be a case study on Adani by business schools such as Harvard, on how the relationship between business and politics works, India is a case study,” Gandhi said.
