Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reached Deoghar, the city of Baba Baidyanath as part of his Jharkhand tour. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 16,000 crore along with the airport here.
After the program PM Modi addressed the people. In his address, PM Modi said that everyone’s mind becomes happy after coming to Baba Dham. Today all of us have got the good fortune to accelerate the development of Jharkhand from Deoghar.
Modi, while addressing a BJP rally in Jharkhand’s Deoghar where he inaugurated the AIIMS and a new airport, said, “The country faces a major challenge of short-cut politics, but it is a big truth that the country whose politics is based on short-cut can have short-circuit… It can destroy the country.”
“We have to take India to newer heights as it approaches 100 years of Independence by hard labour alone… it is very easy to get votes from people by taking populist measures, adopting shortcuts without thinking about far-reaching consequences,” the PM added.
PM Modi said, “Our government understands the difficulties of the poor, is the companion of the poor’s happiness and sorrow. In this period of Corona, the biggest epidemic of 100 years came. During this, our government took care of everything from free vaccine to the poor to their food and drink.’
He further said, ‘Today, such a challenge has come before our country, which every countryman has to know and understand. This is the challenge of shortcut politics. It is very easy to get people’s votes by making tempting promises, adopting shortcuts.’
Modi said, “Those with shortcuts do not have to work hard nor do they have to think about far-reaching consequences.”
The Prime Minister said, “There are some governments, in whose heart there is no sense of service, but the feeling of power is filled. It is because of the sense of power that those who stay in governments for a long time, their priority is to get power, service is never their priority. The BJP government, the NDA government, with the spirit of serving the poor, is working wholeheartedly for them.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I am sure that the projects which we have started today are going to give a new impetus to the development of Jharkhand. For us, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas are not just slogans. Those poor, those tribals, those Dalits, those backward, those sisters and daughters whose number always came last, they are at the first place in our priorities today.”
