AAP Leader Atishi Accuses BJP of Targeting Party, Says ‘They All Are Just Afraid of Arvind Kejriwal’

Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, rejected to come in for questioning on Thursday, November 2, citing confusing summons that seemed to be “in the nature of a fishing and roving inquiry.” CM Kejriwal was called in relation to the Delhi Excise Policy case investigations. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had questioned Kejriwal in April of this year on its own case involving the same policy.

Atishi Claims ED’s Kejriwal Interrogation Is Just the Start

AAP Minister Atishi says, “This ED summon to interrogate Arvind Kejriwal is just a beginning, they’ll summon other leaders of AAP, raid the residence of leaders, arrest AAP MLAs, ministers and MPs…because BJP is afraid of AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. Our prediction was right as ED raided the residence of our minister and MLA from Patel Nagar Raaj Kumar Anand,”

Kejriwal Requests Recall of ‘Unsustainable’ ED Summons

Calling the “vague and motivated summons” “unsustainable in law,” CM Kejriwal has asked the investigating officer to recall them. He will receive another notification from the ED in the upcoming days, as it is unlikely that he will comply. As long as Kejriwal doesn’t join the probe, they can keep sending him notices.
