Ahead of Cabinet reshuffling exercise: Eight new governors transferred and appointed

Before the expansion of the Modi cabinet, the governors of many states have been changed, while a new governor has also been appointed. One name that is surprising in this is that of Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot. He has been appointed as the Governor of Karnataka. On the other hand, Bandaru Dattatreya will now be the Governor of Haryana.

According to the information released by the President’s Office on Tuesday afternoon-

Sreedharan Pillai, the Governor of Mizoram, has been transferred and appointed as the Governor of Goa.

Satyadev Narayan Arya, Governor of Haryana has been transferred and appointed as the Governor of Tripura.

Ramesh Bais, Governor of Tripura has been transferred and appointed as the Governor of Jharkhand.

Thaawarchand Gehlot will be the Governor of Karnataka.


Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has been transferred and appointed as the Governor of Haryana.

As the Governor of Mizoram, DrHari Babu will be Kambhampati.

Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel will be the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will be the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

Many big decisions are to be taken by the government before the monsoon session. Modi cabinet is going to expand within the next one or two days. It is being told that potential ministers are also being called for this. Many new faces are going to get a chance in this.

At the same time, some existing cabinet ministers can also be removed. It has started by making Thaawarchand Gehlot the governor.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, may get a place in the Modi cabinet. Senior leader Narayan Rane has also been called to New Delhi. According to the information, a call has reached to Narayan Rane from the office of party president JP Nadda.
