In the UP Assembly elections 2022, the political controversy was seen rising on Saturday when Home Minister Amit Shah reached Kairana seat in western UP to campaign. Amit Shah campaigned door-to-door in this city, which was in the news for the issue of migration in western UP. He distributed pamphlets related to the appeal to the people to vote for BJP and also greeted everyone. However, during this time Amit Shah was not wearing a mask and the rules and regulations of the Election Commission regarding social distancing were also seen flying.
The Election Commission has allowed door-to-door campaigning with only five people. But there was a lot of crowd with Shah. During this, tremendous security arrangements were also seen there. Amit Shah, along with hundreds of party workers, roamed the narrow streets of Kairana. During this, tremendous sloganeering was also seen from the party workers. Amit Shah reached the shop of Sadhu Sweet Shop owner Rakesh Garg and talked to him.
Amit Shah said that we talked to the people here, they showed a sense of security and confidence. People said that due to the best law and order, they are now living here comfortably. Those who talk about migration have themselves migrated from Kairana today.

It is said that Rakesh had also left the city during the exodus of Hindus from Kairana, but now he has returned here. However, Amit Shah postponed his public meeting in Kairana. Shah left straight from there to attend the meeting of party workers in Shamli. Big leaders of the party and election in-charge will also attend this meeting.
It is worth noting that in the last UP assembly elections, BJP had won a landslide victory in western UP. The party got success in most of the seats here, but this time the party is trying its best to win the hearts of the voters from house to house regarding the farmers movement. Amit Shah entry into the ground campaign is being considered as part of the strategy to instill enthusiasm among the workers.
