Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Goa on Sunday on a one-day visit where he addressed public meetings and campaigned door-to-door. BJP’s Goa election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Shripad Naik, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, state BJP president Sadanandru Shet Tanawade and others received Shah at the Dabolim airport.
Amit Shah from Goa targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi fiercely. He said that he is suffering from ‘Modi-phobia’. He also said that the people of Goa will have to choose between the ‘Golden Goa’ of the BJP and the ‘Goa of the Gandhi family’ of the Congress.

Apart from this, Amit Shah also said that the development of small states is the priority of the Narendra Modi-led government. He said that development can happen only when there is stability.
The BJP has fielded its candidates on all 40 seats of the Legislative Assembly in Goa. The state will go to the polls on February 14, 2022 and the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
