In the last phase of Bihar assembly elections, votes will be cast in 78 seats on Saturday. The reputation of many veterans, from power to opposition, is at stake in the third phase.
This important phase is considered very important for NDA. Because 45 of the 78 seats in the last phase are occupied by the current NDA. The ruling of Bihar is going to be decided in this last phase, where the NDA has a challenge to save its forward vote bank, while the Grand Alliance is trying to keep its core voter Yadav-Muslim with them.
In the third phase of the Vidhan Sabha elections, four big faces of the RJD are in the electoral field, in which the political personality of two leaders is very special, their defeat or victory makes political matters worse. These include Abdul Bari Siddhaki and the Dalit face Ramai Ram, the party’s most senior Muslim candidate from Kewati.
In the last election, 19 seats in the BJP’s account came from these areas. At the same time, if you look at the 2010 election results, out of these 35 seats, BJP had 27 seats in the account. At that time, BJP had a total of 91 seats in its account. In this election also the BJP is trying to win more than 2010 seats, so that the path of power can be made easier.
Anyway, it is prevalent that if Mithilanchal and Seemanchal showed favor, their government is set to be formed in Bihar. So far, the election results have also proved that the party which dominates more in these areas is formed by the government. In this context, the BJP has put full power to the third phase.
In the third phase, polling will be held on 4-4 seats in Madhepura and Kishanganj districts, 7-7 in Katihar and Purnia districts, 6 in Araria, 5 in Supaul and 6 in Madhubani. Similarly, voting will be held in 5 seats of Sitamarhi, 6 seats in East Champaran and 6 seats in West Champaran. In the 2015 elections, JDU won 3 seats and RJD one seat in Madhepura district. Out of the 7 seats in Katihar district, the Congress won 3, BJP 2, RJD and Male one seat each.
