BJP Chooses Former MLA Who “Jumped Into River To Save Lives” In Gujarat’s Morbi

The election bugle has sounded in Gujarat. Voting will be held in two phases in Gujarat. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the first list of candidates on Thursday (November 10). BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam has announced the names of candidates for 160 seats for the first phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will contest from Ghatlodiya. Hardik Patel, who left Congress and joined BJP, has made a candidate from Viramgam.

Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja has got ticket from Jamnagar North.

At the same time, the ticket of the sitting MLA of Morbi has been cut in the list of BJP candidates. In his place, BJP has also fielded Kantilal Amrutiya, former MLA of Morbi, by giving ticket. BJP has made him the party’s candidate from Morbi. It is being told about Kantilal Amrutiya that, when the Morbi bridge accident happened, he himself jumped into the river to save the lives of the people.

These leaders refused to contest elections

Many veteran BJP leaders have refused to contest the elections this time regarding the Gujarat elections. Former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided not to contest the elections. Former Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Former Minister Saurabh Patel, Pradeep Jadeja have refused to contest the elections this time. About eight former ministers of Gujarat will not contest the elections. Former Gujarat cabinet minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama has also refused to contest the assembly elections.
