CM Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is set to hold a Mega rally on the coming Sunday at the Ramlila Ground. This rally is seen as the first rally since the formation of AAP Government. This will be the CM’s first Political Rally apart from his oath taking ceremonies. The AAP convenor became a popular face in the Indian Politics among the common man twelve years ago during the Anna Hazare Andolan. Soon after he formed his own Political party known as the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ and became the Chief Minister of Delhi. After a span of 12 years Kejriwal is all set to return to the Ramlila Ground.
Rally aims to garner support for the 2024 Polls
Although his party has been claiming that he is trying to gather support from the common against the Centre’s Ordinance to curb the powers of the Delhi Government. On the other side, experts also believe that this is seen as the Official inauguration of the Poll Campaign for the 2024 elections for the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal. After marking a victory in the Gujarat elections and a gaining a National Party status in the Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party will now face a challenge of winning the common man’s heart in different states.
‘Arvind Kejriwal’s tryst with Ramlila Maidan continues’
If we look back at the Party’s Performance, after Former Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain’s arrest, the rally is likely to see a low turnout of Party Workers and the common man. The upcoming rally at the Ramlila Maidan also throws a challenge for the Aap Chief to win the heart of the common man of Delhi.
