On Saturday, for the upcoming Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Congress released its list of campaigners, news agency ANI reported.
Some of the campaigners are Congress outgoing president Sonia Gandhi, party president-elect Mallikarjun Kharge, MP Rahul Gandhi, party leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel, and Anand Sharma.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) revealed its list of prominent campaigners for the upcoming elections the day before this. Senior BJP figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Party Chief J P Nadda are among the names on their list.

Other on the campaign list are Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, State Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Uttarkhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Karnataka MP Tejasvi Surya.
The Himachal assembly election (Himachal Vidhan Sabha election) will take place on November 12 in a single phase. The deadline for filing a nomination is October 25, and the Himachal Pradesh assembly election vote count will take place on December 8.
