Congress Task Force For 2024, Under New Party Chief, To Meet For 1st Time

Monday will be the inaugural meeting of the Congress task force on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, which will be led by new party chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

After Kharge became president of Congress, this is the Task Force’s first gathering. The incoming President will be informed by the election strategy group’s members on the task force’s activities and the election schedule for 2024.

P Chidambaram, Mukul Wasnik, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Randeep Surjewala, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Sunil Kanugolu are a few of the task force’s members.

Prior to its important three-day summit in Udaipur, Rajasthan, the grand old party announced in April the formation of a “Empowered Action Group” to confront “political problems” before the 2024 presidential race.

The 2024 task group was established by the former party president Sonia Gandhi in response to a report submitted by an eight-person committee.
