AAP leader blames Centre for the rise in Power Tariff in Delhi

Delhi News: : Aam Admi Party leader Atishi has blamed the Centre for the high electricity bills in Delhi. The AAP leader said that the Power tariff is increasing only because of the mismanagement of the Central Government and the increasing rate of coal blocks. She said there is no shortage of coal in the national Capital, then why is the price of coal increasing? Why are the companies forced to buy coal on higher rates.

Residents complaining of high Power Bills in summers

Delhiites have been getting high Power Bills as there has been a constant rise in the demand for electricity due to the scorching heat. The AAP Government in Delhi has been providing free electricity to the consumers with 200 units of Monthly consumption. Those having 201 to 400 units of consumption per month get a fifty percent subsidy round off around 850.

LG extended the Power Subsidy amid row in April month

The LG had extended the Electricity subsidy amid deadlock over the extension of scheme in the month of April. The AAP leader in a media brief informed the residents that the subsidy of 46 lakh consumers is going to end due to the lack of approval by the LG. However the LG office denied the allegations saying that subsidy has been extended for the year 2023-2024.
