Aam Aadmi Party has received ED notice for taking donations from fake companies. After the notice, the AAP retaliated saying that the BJP has panicked due to the increasing influence of CM Arvind Kejriwal and hence is misusing government agencies. After this notice, the political war between the Aam Aadmi Party and the central government is expected to intensify again.
In fact, the ED had registered a case in 2017 on charges of money laundering of four fake companies. These companies are also accused of donating Rs 50 lakh each to the Aam Aadmi Party. The entire case is being told of the year 2014.
CM Arvind Kejriwal hit back at the Center over the notice, writing, ‘In Delhi they tried to defeat us from IT Department, CBI, Delhi Police, but we managed to win 62 seats. As we are moving forward in Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, we have got ED notice. People of India want honest politics, this strategy of BJP will never succeed, it will make us stronger.
