External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has strongly taunted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that Rahul Gandhi takes classes from the Chinese Ambassador on the issue of China. The External Affairs Minister took a jibe at the Congress leader while presenting his stand on the ‘Modi government’s foreign policy’ in Mysuru, Karnataka on Sunday.
‘Rahul Gandhi takes classes on China from the Chinese ambassador’
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said, ‘I wanted to take a class on China from Rahul Gandhi, but I came to know that he was taking a class on China from the Chinese Ambassador.’ Rahul has been criticizing the Modi government on the issue of China and the Foreign Minister was responding to the same thing.
Mentioned about Rahul’s meeting with Chinese Ambassador
He also referred to Rahul Gandhi’s meeting with the Chinese ambassador during the Doklam crisis, when Rahul accused the government, claiming that because of it, we had allegedly lost our new territory to China’s policy of salami slicing.
‘Don’t weaken your position abroad’
S Jaishankar said, ‘I know that everything is political in politics. I accept it. But, I think we have a collective responsibility on some issues to at least behave in such a way that we don’t undermine our (India’s) collective position abroad, which is what we have seen in the last three years on China ‘.
Jaishankar has earlier criticized Rahul Gandhi in the India Today Conclave on the India-China issue.
