Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Amit Shah Praises Haryana CM Nayab Saini, Promises Another Five-Year Term

The home minister's visit to Ambala marks an important phase in the BJP’s efforts to retain power in Haryana ahead of the upcoming state elections.

Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public gathering in Barara town of Ambala district on Friday, praised Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for his dedicated work and assured him of another five-year term as the state’s leader. Shah emphasized that Saini has been tirelessly working for the poor, Dalits, backward classes, farmers, and women in Haryana and encouraged him not to tire, as he would continue to serve as CM for another term.

Targeting the opposition, Shah stated that the Congress governments in Haryana had previously trapped the state in corruption, while the BJP has transformed it into one of the leading states in the country. Shah also promised that Haryana’s youth joining the Indian Armed Forces through the Agniveer scheme would be given government jobs with pensions in the state.

Campaigning for Party Candidates in Ambala District

Amit Shah was in Barara to rally support for BJP candidates in the upcoming elections. He campaigned for Santosh Sarwan in the Mullana constituency, Aseem Goel in Ambala City, and Pawan Saini in Naraingarh. During the rally at Barara’s grain market, Shah called the candidates to the stage, urging the public to vote for them and ensure their victory.

Shah also addressed another gathering at Ladwa in support of CM Nayab Saini. Beginning his speech with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai Shri Ram,” Shah applauded Saini’s humble leadership style, remarking that despite being in power, Saini continues to focus on serving the people of Haryana. At Shah’s remarks, Saini stood up and greeted the cheering crowd with folded hands.
