Himachal Pradesh: Conference of presiding officers in Shimla, PM Modi may come on November 17

Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attend the 82nd All India Presiding Officers’ Conference in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, on November 17. Where this conference will run from 16 to 19 November. At the same time, preparations are being made by the Himachal Government to bring the PM to this conference. However, official approval has not been received from the PMO yet. During this, the state government officials said that the government is in touch with the PMO on this matter. If the Prime Minister accepts this invitation, then the state government can get some pending foundation stone laid by the Prime Minister.

In fact, about 100 years ago, in 1921, the first All India Presiding Officers’ Conference was held in Shimla. After that, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla (Om BidlaP) will attend as the chief guest in this conferenceAt the same time, about 70 officers and employees of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariat will also come to Shimla. In such a situation, the Governor of the state, CM and members of the cabinet will also be present in the conference.

There are also 2 such power projects including Savada Kuddu, which have been completed and which are to be inaugurated. Foundation stone of some projects can also be laid. There is a discussion that the MoU should be signed by the Industries Department for the second ground breaking of the Global Investors’ Meet, but connectivity is an issue and Dharamshala would be the right venue for that.

Significantly, the BJP’s National Executive Committee will have a virtual meeting on Sunday. In this meeting, CM Jai Ram Thakur, State President Suresh Kashyap, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal, Shanta Kumar along with State BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna and co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon will also join. Where there is a possibility of discussion about the defeat of BJP in the by-elections of Fatehpur, Arki and Jubbal Kotkhai assembly including Mandi parliamentary seat in Himachal.
