Nuh Violence: The unrest in Nuh, Haryana, has been going on for almost a month now. More than 250 people have been detained so far as the inquiry is ongoing. In Nuh, a symbolic Brijmandal Shobha Yatra was conducted today once more. Anil Vij, the home minister for Haryana, has stated that Congress was responsible for the violence based on the information that has been provided thus far. Anil Vij attacked the Congress and its leaders during his speech to the Haryana Vidhansabha’s monsoon session. Speaker of the Assembly Nuh, however, declined to address the issue of hostility in the House.
Home Minister Accuses Congress, Opposition Calls for Focus on Nuh Plot
Anil Vij, maintaining his position in front of the legislature, stated, “I just want to say that the investigation done so far and the arrest of 500 people are indicating that all this happened at the behest of the Congress.” Former CM and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda responded to the argument about not debating the Nuh violence in the assembly by saying, “The issue of demolishing houses with bulldozers is in the court; we do not want a debate on it.” We want to talk about the Nuh plot and the violence there.
Legal Constraints and Symbolic Yatra
In fact, Haryana Vidhansabha Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta stated that because the Nuh violence case is currently before a court, no more discussion on it is permitted. On the other side, today’s Brijmandal Yatra in Nuh was announced by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal. However, the yatra was forbidden by the authorities. 50 persons were ultimately permitted to enter the Nalhar temple, and the VHP also announced that just a symbolic yatra would be conducted.
