In Bhopal, where three BJP leaders joined Congress on Sunday, Nath was interacting with the media. Kamal Nath Sets Condition for New Party Entrants
After the occasion, Kamal Nath addressed the media and declared that his party would welcome any new members as long as they had permission from the party’s local branch. He emphasised this, saying that Chouhan would also require permission from the party’s local section in order to join. Former media coordinator for Kamal Nath, BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja, poked fun at the minister for his remarks. Stop worrying about Shivraj ji, Kamal Nath ji. He has been the chief minister for 18 years and is affiliated with the largest political party in the world, Saluja remarked in a tweet, adding that Kamal Nath is merely “trying to get attention and amuse himself” by making such claims. “By saying these things, you just want to secure your future, because you already know the results of the assembly elections 2023,” he wrote in the tweet.
BJP’s Saluja Accuses Kamal Nath of Deserting Party Members
He also slammed Kamal Nath, saying that he was a leader who had a history of abandoning his party’s members while in office. “Kamal Nath is The leader who brought down his running government by saying ‘Chalo-Chalo’, whose name has been recorded in history because many people left the Congress under his leadership, and the leader who has many leaders on the verge of leaving his party even today,” Saluja wrote in his Hindi tweet. “(He is) The one who himself gives a statement that whoever wants to leave the party, can have my car standing to drop him, who says that MLAs have no value, whose sinking ship everyone wants to get out of,” Saluja continued.
