Lok Sabha Election 2024: The seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections is going on today, and it involve fifty-seven constituencies located in seven states as well as the Union territory of Chandigarh. In the seventh phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running for a third straight term in Varanasi.

Notable Candidates in the Final Phase

Along with Chandigarh, polling will take place in all thirteen Punjab seats, four Himachal Pradesh seats, thirteen Uttar Pradesh constituencies, nine West Bengal seats, eight Bihar seats, six Odisha seats, and three Jharkhand seats.

Simultaneous polling will be held for the remaining 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha and six assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh through by-elections. The major faces whose reputation is at stake during the voting in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections include the names of prominent leaders like PM Narendra Modi, Misa Bharti, Pawan Singh, Upendra Kushwaha, Charanjit Singh Channi, Ravi Kishan, Pankaj Chaudhary, Virendra Chaudhary, Arvind Rajbhar, Neeraj Shekhar, Afzal Ansari, Nishikant Dubey, Anurag Thakur, Kangana Ranaut and Abhishek Banerjee.

Early Voting Trends in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh

After two hours of counting, the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh had a voter turnout of 13.81 percent. Mandi is one of the well-known Himachal Pradesh seats to keep an eye on in the current Lok Sabha elections. Kangana Ranaut, a former star turned politician, is running against Congressman Vikramaditya Singh on behalf of the BJP.

BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty states, following his vote at a voting place in Belgachia, “…I am a BJP cadre, I have done my duty.” BJP national president JP Nadda said “People are going to bless PM Modi and NDA will cross the mark of 400 seats…The entire country is having a discussion about ‘400 paar’ but the people who have done negative politics are saying that we want 400 seats to change the Constitution…They have worked on the principle of divide and rule for the last 75 years. PM Modi has done the work of taking India towards Viksit Bharat with his positive politics.”

Early Voter Turnout in Final Phase

In the first two hours of voting in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha polls, 11.31 percent of voters cast ballots.
