The area that is presently home to Ayodhya was originally known as the Faizabad district. In 2018, the district of Faizabad was formally renamed as Ayodhya. The Lok Sabha seat is still known as Faizabad, notwithstanding. The Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad is leading the BJP’s Lallu Singh more than five hours after the counting began. The lead had about ten thousand votes.
Election Manifesto and the Grand Temple
The BJP had hoped to take pride in the success of the January 2019 opening of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The BJP’s election manifesto from the previous election included the big temple, whose grand opening was meant to set the tone for the party’s 2024 election campaign. Trends indicate that the INDIA bloc is significantly winning Uttra Pradesh in the meantime. At 1:00 pm, the Samajwadi Party and Congress held the lead in 34 and nine Lok Sabha seats, respectively, while the INDIA bloc held the lead in 43 seats in Uttar Pradesh. With 34 seats, the BJP, which won 62 seats in 2019, was in the lead.
