Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and IT commerce minister KT Rama Rao has written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which he said that the recent publicity stunt by the name of employment fair is a cruel joke with unemployed youth. He said that PM Modi has unveiled this new drama before the elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
TRS working president KTR reminded PM Modi about his assurance of filling two crore jobs every year, saying that 16 crore jobs were to be given in the last eight years.
Unemployed youth are waiting for them. In the letter, Minister KTR questioned whether a white paper would be issued on the number of jobs given by the BJP government in the last eight years. He also mentioned the number of central government employees retiring annually, the impact of selling public sector companies and other aspects.
Telangana government jobs data presented
Pointing to the number of jobs given by the Telangana government, he questioned the central government about the number of jobs created. TRS working president KTR said that the Telangana government has given 1.50 lakh government jobs, has started the process of giving 91,000 more government jobs. Apart from this, 16.5 lakh employment opportunities were provided in the private sector. This has been done in a state with a population of 3.5 crore.
Two lakh central government employees retire annually
Minister KTR has questioned the central government on how many jobs he has filled in a country with a population of 130 crores. He said that in our country two lakh central government employees retire annually. The central government claims that they have provided 75000 jobs in a day without filling 50,000 posts annually in the last eight years, which is not fair. The central government itself has said that about 16 lakh more posts are to be filled. Pointing to the situation, Minister KTR has asked what message he wants to give to the unemployed youth with this new stunt called Rojgar Mela.
KTR said that the central government has said during the announcement of the employment fair that vacancies in 38 central departments will be filled. He has asked about the remaining vacancies in 38 central departments, seeking clarity on the timing of filling up of vacancies. He asked whether the central government would issue a national job calendar for unemployed youth. He has also said that about two lakh people lost the opportunity of regularization of jobs because the central government is selling public sector companies.
