Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh today. PM Modi will attend a function related to the 75th anniversary of independence here.
During this, PM Modi will also hand over the keys of their houses digitally to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban. This key of their residence (PMAY-U) will be handed over to 75 thousand beneficiaries of 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi will also communicate with the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in a digital way. They will get information about the benefits of getting housing from them and the benefits of government schemes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘New Urban India: Transforming the Urban Scenario’ conference and exhibition organized under the ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ to mark the 75th year of independence at the Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow on Tuesday.
This program has been named Azadi@75-New Urban India: Transforming Urban Landscape. A demonstration will also be organized here along with the ceremony. Prime Minister Modi will attend this program to be held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone or inaugurate 75 urban development projects under Smart Cities Mission and AMRUT in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, 75 buses will also be flagged off under the FAME-II scheme for Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Jhansi and Ghaziabad. PM Modi will also announce the establishment of Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee Chair at Babasaheb Ambedkar University in Lucknow.
During the Prime Minister’s arrival in Lucknow, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other big ministers of the state government will also be present. PM Modi had earlier visited Aligarh, where he had laid the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap University. This second visit of PM Modi within a month is taking place at a time when the politically UP is unstable.
The opposition is also attacking about the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in UP. However, the UP government has got a big relief due to the agreement between the farmers and the administration.
