Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on gets the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in a government hospital.
State Public Relations Department official said that Chauhan was injected with the first dose of Covishield in the government-run Hamidia Hospital.
He said that Chauhan remained in the hospital for a fixed time of half an hour after being vaccinated as per vaccination guidelines. Chauhan was also accompanied by his wife Sadhna Singh.

The chief minister was confirmed to have been infected with the corona virus on 25 July last year. He underwent his treatment after being admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal for a few days.
A health department official said that a total of 9,29,353 people have been vaccinated in Madhya Pradesh till Wednesday.
