The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to bring Muslim votes to its side in UP. In this episode, BJP is going to start it on 16 and 18 October through Pasmanda Muslim Conference in Lucknow. Through this conference, BJP will engage Muslims for municipal elections and Lok Sabha elections. The first conference to engage and discuss the Pasmanda Muslim will be held on October 16 at Christ Church College under the banner of Minority Front. Whereas the second conference is proposed to be held on 18 in Visvesvaraya auditorium.
Ghulam Ali Khatana has been specially invited in the conference. In the program, Deputy Chief Minister of BJP government, Brajesh Pathak will attend the conference as the chief guest and National General Secretary of Minority Front, Sabir Ali as the keynote speaker. Ministers of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari, Sanjay Singh Gangwar will also participate in the conference.
Increasing party’s penetration in the Muslim community is an important part of BJP’s roadmap
In fact, three months ago in July, in the meeting of the BJP’s national executive in Hyderabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called on the party to increase the reach of Pasmanda Muslims. In such a situation, the conference going to be held in the capital is being considered as an important part of BJP’s roadmap towards increasing the penetration of the party in the Muslim community.
BJP is the first choice of minority society today – Danish Azad Ansari
Danish Azad Ansari, Minority Minister of BJP government and General Secretary of Morcha, says that BJP is the first choice of minority society today. Muslim society is getting benefits without discrimination in this government. Efforts are being made to raise Muslims at every level. A direct example of this is the victory of BJP in the recently held Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha by-elections. The number of Muslim votes in both the seats is decent. This shows that the choice of Muslims is now becoming BJP. The opposition parties will continue to spread confusion only for the sake of vote bank.
It is to be known that BJP’s sources regarding the civic elections tell that BJP can field candidates on its symbol even in such wards and nagar panchayats, where most of the minority voters are there. The party’s minority front has started work on this mission. The process of Morcha meetings is starting across the state. There are more than 200 such seats in Nagar Palika, Nagar Panchayat, where Muslim votes are in a decisive position. It is believed that this preparation is being done keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024 and not just for the civic elections. For this purpose BJP is constantly talking about Pasmanda Muslims so that minorities can be dented.
