The Central Government has started preparations for the Monsoon Session of the Parliament which is going to start next week. The government on Thursday listed the Personal Data Protection Bill, a bill to amend the Forest Conservation Act and a bill to replace the Ordinance on Services in Delhi.
21 Bills listed
According to the bulletin issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, 21 Bills have been listed for the Monsoon Session. In this, a draft bill to prevent film piracy, age-based classification of censor certification and a bill related to setting up a National Research Foundation are proposed.
These will also be discussed during the session
The Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill and the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill have also been included in the list during the Parliament session. This will also be considered and efforts will be made to get it passed.
Monsoon session will start from July 20
The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on July 20 and continue till August 11. In a tweet, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi appealed to all parties to support productive debate and legislative work during the monsoon session. The monsoon session is expected to be stormy in view of the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year.
