Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the nation. He has announced to withdraw all three agricultural laws during this period. He appealed to the farmers agitating on this issue to return home. Farmer organizations were protesting for a long time to withdraw these three laws.
Today, the government has taken another important decision related to the agriculture sector. To promote zero budget farming that is natural farming, to change the crop pattern in a scientific way keeping in mind the changing needs of the country. In order to make the MSP more effective and transparent, a committee will be constituted to take decisions on all such subjects, keeping in view the future. In this committee, there will be representatives of the central government, state governments, farmers, agricultural scientists, agricultural economists.
The three farm law will be withdrawn through Parliament during the Parliament session beginning later this month.

Today is the holy festival of light of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Today I have come to tell you that we have decided to withdraw three agricultural laws. I appeal to the agitating farmers to return home.
Our government, for the welfare of farmers, especially for the welfare of small farmers, in the interest of the agricultural world of the country, in the interest of the country, for the bright future of the village poor, with full sincerity, with dedication towards the farmers, This law was brought with a good intention.
Three agricultural laws were brought to improve the condition of the farmers. We did this to ensure that they get the right price for their produce. This demand was being made for years. Many governments had planned on this in the past as well. This time also there was discussion and brainstorming took place. Many farmers’ organizations in every corner of the country supported it.
Our government is continuously taking one step after the other in the interest of the farmers. Working sincerely for the farmers.
We kept on explaining to the farmers with utmost humility. The conversation continued. We left no stone unturned to understand the farmers’ point of view. The government agreed to change the provisions of the law on which they had objections. Friends, today is the holy festival of Guru Nanak Devji, this is not the time to blame anyone.
