PM Modi Exposes KCR’s Attempt to Join NDA, Cites a Sudden Change in Relations

PM Modi: After the 2020 elections for the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao plans to join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The Prime Minister, however, claimed that KCR’s “deeds” prevented him from being connected with him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told, “When BJP won 48 seats in the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election, KCR needed support. Before this election, he used to welcome me at the airport, but later suddenly he stopped doing so,” While speaking at a rally in Telangana. “After the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, KCR came to meet me in Delhi and said that he wanted to join NDA. He also asked me to extend support to him. I told him (KCR) that due to his deeds Modi cannot be associated with him,” he Further added.

In the 2020 elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), KCR’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) fell 21 seats short of winning the majority. 48 seats were won by the BJP in the local election. BRS spokesperson M Krishank said, “Next time a Chief Minister visits the Prime Minister, he should take a camera because Narendra Modi can stoop to any low level with lies for political benefits.” In response to Prime Minister Modi’s assertion, he continued by saying that the Prime Minister might “stoop to any low level with lies for political benefits”.
