This significant decision was made during a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence, marking a historic moment in Indian politics.

A total of 21 NDA leaders signed the resolution, which praised Mr. Modi’s efforts in nation-building, the welfare of the poor, and overall development. The resolution emphasized the collective efforts of all the signatories in these achievements.
“After a very long gap, of almost six decades, the people of India have chosen a powerful leader with an absolute majority for the third consecutive time,” the resolution stated. It further highlighted the unity and success of the NDA under Modi’s leadership in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, affirming their unanimous decision to choose him as their leader.

Additionally, key allies such as Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N. Chandrababu Naidu, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy, Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, and Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Praful Patel were in attendance.
The resolution and subsequent endorsement of Narendra Modi for a third term underscore the continued support and confidence of the NDA coalition in his leadership, setting the course for his new term in office.
