According to the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi was informed by the officials about the current situation of Corona in the country. Apart from this, the PM was also apprised of the preparations for the coming days. At the same time, the PM also saw the progress report of vaccination in the country. Also instructed him to continue at high speed. According to sources, there will be many festivals in September, so it is expected that the Ministry of Home Affairs may issue new guidelines for the states.
He had said that 35 districts of the country are still reporting weekly Covid positivity rate of more than 10 per cent, while it is between five and 10 per cent in 30 districts. More than half of India’s adult population has received at least one dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine, while 18 percent have received both. Along with this, the central government said on Thursday that the total number of corona vaccinations in the country has crossed 72 crores.
