Punjab politics once again came under fire after Punjab cabinet minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and some other leaders openly raised the demand for the removal of Captain. After this political storm that arose on Tuesday, now some MLAs of Punjab have moved to Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Because state in-charge Harish Rawat is currently in Dehradun.
Four ministers of the Punjab government, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhwinder Singh Randhawa, Sukh Sakaria and Charanjit Channi and three MLAs Kulveer Jeera, Barindrajit Paha and Surinder Dhiman reached a hotel in Dehradun. The meeting took place in this hotel and Harish Rawat also reached the meeting. At the same time, before going to the meeting, Harish Rawat told the media that the 2022 elections will be fought under the leadership of Captain Amarinder.

The meeting ended after three o’clock in the afternoon and Harish Rawat spoke to the media. He said that there is no threat to the Punjab government. He said that the MLAs of Punjab expressed their concerns. All of them were worried about the party’s chances of victory. They are not opposed to any person. He wants to enter the election with a clear road map so that the election can be won. Said that there were also some complaints regarding the administration of the MLAs. If anyone has any displeasure with anyone then it should not come in the way of Congress. Said that Congress is trying together to win the elections.
Harish Rawat said that these MLAs have assured that they will maintain the unity of the party and they have full faith in the party high command. I will go to the party leader regarding the concerns of the MLAs. I have full faith in them. Even if there has been some damage in the party, then the way of its fulfillment will also come out of these MLAs. During this, Harish Rawat agreed to the displeasure of some MLAs with the Punjab Chief Minister and his own government. He said it happens. I should have gone to Punjab, but I could not go, so these MLAs came to meet me. However, he did not clarify what were the complaints of the said MLA. Harish Rawat said that he would go to Delhi in a day or two and inform the party high command about the circumstances.
