Rahul Gandhi criticises on PM’s Lok Sabha address

In the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress on Wednesday (February 8). During this, the opposition parties created a ruckus and raised slogans demanding a JPC inquiry into the Adani case. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said right after PM Modi’s speech that he is saving him (Gautam Adani).

Rahul Gandhi said, “Why didn’t Prime Minister Narendra Modi talk about the investigation. Why was there no discussion on benami property?” He claimed that a huge scam had taken place. My questions were not even answered. Had Adani not been a friend of PM Modi, there would have been an investigation.

In fact, Rahul Gandhi had claimed on Tuesday (February 7) that Adani’s business had grown tremendously in the Modi government and the BJP had personally benefited from it. Rahul said that this happened only because of the closeness of both.

What did PM Modi say?

Pointing to Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday (February 7), PM Narendra Modi said that after the speech of some people, the whole ecosystem and supporters were jumping. They started saying happily that this did not happen. Perhaps you must have had a good sleep, perhaps you would not have been able to wake up today. He said in a poetic way that it has been said for such people. By saying this, we are entertaining the heart, they have left now, they are coming now.

‘Changes in the rules’

Rahul Gandhi had claimed in Parliament that there were changes in airport rules for Adani. The rule was that if someone is not in the airport business, then they cannot take these airports, this rule was changed by the central government of BJP for Adani. Also, he said that Adani’s wealth has increased after 2014.
