Farmers across the country have been protesting for almost a year on the borders of the country’s capital Delhi. The Congress has been continuously surrounding the government with the new agricultural laws. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Monday surprised everyone when he was seen driving a tractor on the streets of Delhi. Rahul reached Parliament House by driving tractor in support of farmers’ movement. Many Congress leaders including Randeep Surjewala, BV Srinivas and Deepender Hooda were seen on the tractor with Rahul Gandhi. During this, Surjewala and Srinivas have been taken into custody.
During this, Rahul Gandhi said, “This is the voice of the farmer, the voice of the farmers is not being heard. I have brought the message of farmers. The government has to withdraw these three agricultural laws, these are black laws. Rahul Gandhi said that wrong allegations are being made against the farmers, they are even being called terrorists. ”
Kisan Sansad is being organized on behalf of the farmers at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar against the new agricultural laws. About 200 farmers will hold Parliament every day at Jantar Mantar, which will continue till the monsoon session of Parliament. For the last one year, the farmers’ movement is going on at Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur border of Delhi. The farmers demand that all three laws should be withdrawn, but the government says that the laws will not be returned. If any changes have to be made, the government is ready for talks. At the same time, due to the uproar related to agriculture law and Pegasus espionage controversy in the monsoon session, both houses of Parliament are not functioning.
