Former Congressman and Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa in the second episode of ‘Podcast with Smita Prakash’ said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has no systematic seriousness and he is not even fit for politics. Everything starts with non-seriousness and then comes arrogance, Sarma said about Rahul Gandhi in an interview with ANI.
“This moment he is talking to you, the next moment he will go outside for jogging or in some other room, while you will keep waiting for him. And then he will arrive after half an hour,” Himanta Biswa said.
The chief minister of Assam stated that Rahul Gandhi, who is currently on the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, had accepted moral responsibility for the party’s loss in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as well as for his defeat in Amethi. Rahul Gandhi stepped down as party president but continued to make important decisions, according to the chief minister.

“Rahul has accepted moral responsibility for the fact that the party lost the Lok Sabha elections under my leadership, so I will not be the president. But who is leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra? Who is the whole party running after? That means you want to enjoy the power without accountability. In a democracy, when someone wants to enjoy power without parliamentary accountability, without party accountability, without the accountability of the people,
“You are not the president of the Congress, but you make all the choices,” he said. “If you are not the president of the Congress, why has the entire party come around to supporting you now?
Rahul Gandhi was on yatra but had failed to convey his vision for the country, said Sarma.
