Rahul Gandhi Will Return To Parliament Or Not?

Rahul Gandhi defamation case

The Supreme Court on Friday gave relief to Rahul Gandhi in the Modi surname case, with this it has been decided that the way for the restoration of his Parliament membership is now clear. That is, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will again reach the House in the capacity of an MP and discuss the issues with the ruling party. Along with this, it is also being speculated that he can now discuss the no-confidence motion in the House, can be a part of it, the discussion of which is going to start on August 8.

The newly formed I.N.D.I.A alliance is also wishing that Rahul Gandhi should return to the House as soon as possible. Congress is trying very hard for this, but its efforts are not being successful from any corner, so allegations are being made that BJP and the central government that is the ruling party is deliberately delaying this matter.

Mallikarjun Kharge had said this

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said something similar during the press conference on Friday. He sarcastically said that when the membership was to be taken away, then the whole process was adopted in 24 hours, but let’s see how long it takes to restore Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament. He said that we will see and wait. The order and its copy came immediately from 1000-1200 kilometers away from Surat, the notification also came immediately, now the matter is in Delhi only. There is a distance of a few kilometers from the Supreme Court, see how long this distance can be covered?

By staying the sentence of Rahul Gandhi in the Modi defamation case, the Supreme Court cleared the way for his return to Parliament, although the membership has not been restored yet. But sources say that if this happens by Monday, then they can also start the no-confidence discussion against the government. On the other hand, the leaders of I.N.D.I.A. are also happy with the relief of Rahul Gandhi, but the BJP has said that the punishment has only been stayed, it has not ended.

Last week of monsoon session

The special thing is that this is the last week of the monsoon session. Just before this, Rahul Gandhi got relief from the Supreme Court. In such a situation, the Congress has put full emphasis on the return of Rahul Gandhi to the Parliament. The Congress wants Rahul Gandhi to appear in Parliament on Monday and also be a part of the no-confidence motion starting on August 8, but the game of tussle continues. Because Rahul Gandhi has not got the membership back till now.
