Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed the third day of 85th plenary meet of Grand Old Party (GOP) and took a swipe at PM Narendra Modi for the speech he gave in the Parliament. The Prime Minister during motion of thanks speech to the President’s Address, had recalled his visit to Srinagar ,Lal Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar, where he had unfurled the national flag as Ekta Yatra of 1991, concluded there.
Rahul Gandhi’s dig at PM Modi “instilled love for Tricolour in J & K, which BJP had denied the region”
PM Modi had made his remark after Rahul Gandhi had concluded his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk and unfurled the national flag.
During his plenary speech Rahul Gandhi took potshots at PM Modi’s remark in the Parliament and stated,
“We instilled love for Tricolour in youth of Kashmir through Bharat Jodo Yatra. BJP had taken it away.”
He further stated,
“I heard the PM’s speech in Parliament. PM said he hoisted the Tricolour at Lal Chowk. Narendra Modi ji hoisted the Tricolor with thousands of people from Kashmir. The PM did not understand the difference.”
Rahul Gandhi also shared the experience of Kashmir , where he concluded Bharat Jodo Yatra,

Rahul Gandhi takes dig at Jaishankar
Rahul Gandhi also lambasted External Affairs Minister for latters remark on China in which he stated “China is a bigger economy”.
“The minister saying ‘China’s economy is bigger than us, how can we fight them’ is not nationalism but cowardice,”
“Was our economy very big when we were fighting with the Britishers?”
“Bharat Jodo Yatra invoked the true emotion of patriotism. It’s not done by me but by the Congress workers. You saw we did ‘tapasya’ for four months and how energised party workers got, tapasya should not stop,”
“During Bharat Jodo Yatra I learned a lot. I walked for my nation from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Thousands connected to me & party during the yatra. I listened to all problems of farmers & realized their pain,”.
Adani above law, no one question him
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also spoke at length about Adani row in his speech and stated that no one question the Adani in the Parliament,
“One cannot ask questions about Adani in Parliament. We will continue to ask questions till the truth comes out. Why is the BJP guarding Adani?”
Rahul Gandhi also launched an attack on the Central Government,
“The shell companies which are being used to siphon crores of money, who do these belong to?”,
“Why is there no investigation into the matter? It’s a matter of the nation’s security. Adani and Modi are one. And the entire money of the country is in the hands of Adani,”
“Our questions get expunged from Parliament. The freedom struggle was against the East India company. That company has also taken away all the money from the nation,”
