Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh said that population explosion in the country is worrying, so after considering this subject in totality and unity, a population policy should be made applicable to all.
The number of youth will decrease
The Sarkaryavah of the Sangh was addressing a press conference organized in the Vatsalya campus of Jaipuria School located in Gauhania, Prayagraj. Responding to a question related to population imbalance, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole of the Sangh said that due to the emphasis on population control for the last 40-50 years, the average population of each family has come down from 3.4 to 1.9. Due to this, a time will come in India when the population of youth will decrease and the population of old people will be more, it is worrying.
‘Conversion happening in many parts of the country’
He said that the number of Hindus is decreasing due to conversion. The conspiracy to convert is going on in many parts of the country. Infiltration is also taking place in some border areas. Sarkaryavah said that due to population imbalance, there has been a situation of partition in many countries. The partition of India has also happened due to population imbalance.
Plan to reach branch in all divisions
Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale told that by the end of the year 2024, a plan has been made to reach the branch in all the divisions of India. He told that in some provinces this work has been completed up to 99 percent in selected circles. Branches have opened up to the divisional level in Chittor, Braj and Kerala provinces. Sarkaryavah said that earlier there were 54382 Sangh branches in the country. Now at present 61045 branches are being established. There has also been an increase of 4000 in weekly meeting and 1800 in monthly union in last one year.
100 years of the establishment of the Sangh will be completed in 2025
Sarkaryavah said that in the year 2025, 100 years of the establishment of the Sangh are being completed. For this purpose, three thousand youths have come out as centenary vistaraks across the country to give time for Sangh work. There are still a thousand century more to come out. He stressed on keeping the numbers balanced to keep the country young.
At the same time, he also expressed concern over the population imbalance caused by the vicious cycle of conversion and external infiltration.
‘Tribal community also wants to join the Sangh’
He said that due to the awakening of self-respect, people of the tribal community of the northeastern states now want to join the Sangh as well. He said that the people of the tribal community of Meghalaya and Tripura state have also started inviting the Sarsanghchalak of the Sangh with this realization. Said that the sense of ‘I am also a Hindu’ has developed due to self-respect awakening among the tribal community of the northeastern states.
Dattatreya Hosabale informed that in the meeting of the All India Executive Board of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh held in Sangam city, important social issues like population imbalance, women’s participation, conversion and economic self-reliance were discussed in detail and a detailed action plan to expand the Sangh works was discussed. There was a brainstorming in this regard.
