Telangana govt lifts Covid lockdown completely

The Telangana government on Saturday decided to completely lift the lockdown in view of the decreasing number of cases in the second wave of corona virus. The state government took its decision in the cabinet meeting. Telangana has become the first state in the country to completely open the state amid a possible third wave of corona infection.

The government, in its order, said that all the branches should be completely removed all kinds of rules imposed during the lockdown. The state cabinet has decided to remove the lockdown completely. The decision to lift the lockdown has been taken after examining the reports given by the medical authorities.

The Chief Minister’s Office posted on Facebook and wrote, “It has been decided to remove the lockdown after examining the reports given by the medical officers that the number of corona cases, positivity percentage has come down significantly and corona has come under complete control.”

With the arrival of 1,417 new cases of Covid-19 in Telangana on Friday, the total number of infected people increased to 6,10,834, while the death toll reached 3,546 due to the death of 12 more patients. The State Health Department gave this information by issuing a bulletin.
