Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has suffered a major setback before the West Bengal assembly elections. Senior Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi on Friday announced his resignation from the party from the Rajya Sabha. Dinesh Trivedi said that he is deeply saddened by the violence in West Bengal and is feeling suffocated. Dinesh Trivedi has also been a Railway Minister in the Manmohan government.
In West Bengal, the BJP is constantly giving blow to the ruling party Trinamool Congress. After Suvendu Adhikari, the BJP laid the foundation stone for preparing to give a big blow to TMC on Friday. During his speech in Rajyabha on Friday, senior Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi announced his resignation.
In a special conversation with Media after announcing his resignation, Dinesh Trivedi said, ‘I am very emotional and the country has always been omnipotent, what we said in Parliament is the reality, today the whole world is looking towards India and we have such a hard , So much bitterness, so much violence in Bengal, so how can we sit here and compromise our soul.
Former Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said, ‘It was my decision to be passionate for the country and I am happy that Swami Vivekananda and Gurujan have got inspiration, we are beyond the party, if we stay in the party, discipline has to be accepted, and say something Can not, and there is no one to listen, I have respect for Mamataji and will remain, talked about the country despite being the Railway Minister.
On speculation of joining BJP, former Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said, ‘We are still involved in ourselves, we are involved in our conscience, if I talk about the transaction, I will be small in my eyes, we sit – Can not look like a bonded laborer.
On the question of resigning from TMC, former Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said, ‘Now it is just a formality, I resigned the Rajya Sabha Chairman, I do not know what will be the impact on the election, but violence should not happen in Bengal . ‘
On the question of Dinesh Trivedi joining BJP, Kailash Vijayvargiya, national general secretary of the party said, ‘I think Dinesh ji has already delayed, because I was talked to a year ago, any self respecting person from TMC Will resign, Dinesh ji has not yet spoken to join BJP.
Recently, Bengal Forest Minister Rajib Banerjee also resigned. Later he too joined BJP. Dinesh Trivedi’s move to BJP is now being speculated.
